For Stalin! Medium: Graphite Pencil on Paper (A4) An imagined scene, drawn from memory alone. It shows Red Army T34/85 tanks advancing through a smokescreen. The lead tank is in a white distemper camouflage scheme, and also bears the Cyrillic slogan "Za Stalina", For Stalin.
Crusader Charge!-SOLD- Medium: Graphite Pencil on Paper (A4) The MkVI Cruiser Tank, the “Crusader”, made a significant contribution to British armoured strength in the Second World War battles for North Africa. Three tanks of the later Crusader III variant are depicted, engaged in a night-time charge during the battles of El Alamein in October 1942.They wear the insignia of the British 7th Armoured Division, the famous “Desert Rats”. Macbeth: Act I Scene III-SOLD- Medium: Graphite Pencil on Paper (A4) A sketch inspired by Shakespeare's famous play. This scene shows Macbeth and Banquo encountering the witches, before they deliver their fateful prophecies. This sketch was presented to Rhiannon Dickinson, who directed a production of 'The Scottish Play' in 2006 on behalf of the cast (the artist played Banquo). This scene shows Lady Macbeth's decent into madness, sleepwalking and imagining the blood of Duncan still dripping from her hands.
