Turning For Home -SOLD- Medium: Acrylic on Paper (A4) Avro Lancaster 'C- Charlie' of 44 Squadron turns away from a burning target in Germany in 1942, with many miles between it and safety. Flak and fighters surround the Bomber Stream. Winter Victory Medium: Watercolour on Paper (A3) A Soviet VVS MiG-3ud fighter shoots down a German Junkers Ju87D-3 dive bomber in flames. The summer camouflage of both aircraft is apparent under the hastily applied white distemper on both aircraft. The MiG has red wings to aid recovery in the event of a forced landing, and bears the Cyrillic slogan "Za Stalina!", For Stalin!.
English Rose -SOLD- Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Paper (14"x10") Virgin Atlantic Airways Boeing 747-400 G-VROS, ‘English Rose’, lands after another long-haul transatlantic flight. English Rose entered service with Virgin Atlantic in March 2001. The famous “Scarlet Lady” pinup girl proudly flies the Union Flag on the nose, with the slogan “Britain’s Flag Carrier”. Princess Elizabeth Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Paper (14"x10") The superbly restored P51B 'Princess Elizabeth' runs up her engine on the taxiway before another stunning air show appearance.
